Anar Guliyev
02.04.1988 - 17.01.2024
Anar Guliyev is an inspiring figure who embodies the fusion of three cultures and nations, nurtured by love and passion. His story began in an unusual union: Irina, an Armenian woman, and Arif, a representative of Azerbaijan. Despite obstacles from their parents, fate brought them together several times, and a decade after their first separation, bestowed upon them a wonderful firstborn son - Anar. It was clear from an early age that the boy possessed unparalleled talent and charisma. He had a bright gaze and immense creative potential.
However, despite the joy and happiness in the family, difficult times came again. Armenian persecution in Azerbaijan forced pregnant Irina to flee the country with young Anar in her arms and head to a remote village in Stavropol. The burden of responsibility for the family's fate fell on the fragile shoulders of the mother, and she relentlessly sought to nurture the extraordinary abilities and talents of her sons.
Anar, growing up under the gentle guidance of his mother, gradually mastered the world of art, giving birth to new ideas and forms of expression within himself. In search of new horizons, he left home. Filled with emotion and creativity, he first found refuge in Stavropol. Stavropol became his first step towards self-discovery and professional growth, but soon his ambitions outgrew the city and drew the artist to the great city of St. Petersburg, where in the lively gusts of winds, he intends to achieve his dreams.
In St. Petersburg, he found true happiness, immersing himself in the atmosphere of art and creativity. He embraced various projects - from graphic design to the realization of his own clothing brands, generously sharing his unique views and ideas with the world.
Thanks to the support and help of loyal friends, Anar was able to bring to life many projects and ideas. Discovering works of art during his journey to Italy, he found inspiration and in 2018 decided to create his own studio of dimensional cards, using the technique of kirigami. His works are unique and admired by many, so the studio quickly gained popularity and expanded its influence.
However, in early 2024, an unexpected and tragic event occurred. Anar suffered a stroke and fell into a coma, fighting for his life for 8 long days. His family, friends, and fans prayed and hoped for a miracle, but on January 17th, the tragedy inevitably entered their daily lives - Anar passed away. His bright soul was extinguished, leaving a deep mark in the hearts of all those he touched.
Today Anar rests in the center of St. Petersburg, at the Volkovo
Cemetery. Close friends continue Anar's work, preserving his creative legacy and sharing pieces of his talent and inspiration with the world. Although he has left us, his spirit will always live on in the hearts of those who remember and appreciate him.
